Restaurant Manager, Cosme a Luxury Collection Resort

We are looking for an individual who has a great experience in the restaurant scene, customer service orientation,  persistent eye for quality, high level of integrity and cross cultural sensitivity, to lead our premium restaurant Parostià at Cosme, a Luxury Collection Resort in Paros, led by renowned Chef Yiannis Kioroglou.

Kanava Hotels & Resorts was created on 1989, currently occupying more than 300 employees and being the owner, manager and operator of the following properties:


  • Vedema, a Luxury Collection Resort, Marriott International Inc
  • Mystique, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Marriott International Inc
  • Istoria, a member of the Design Hotels
  • Hommage Villa Collection, a member of Marriott Homes & Villas


  • Parilio, a member of the Design Hotels
  • Cosme a Luxury Collection Resort, Marriott International Inc
  • Acron Villas, a member of Marriott Homes & Villas and


  • Korona Boutique Hotel, Hommage Villa Collection, a member of Marriott Homes & Villas

Key Responsibilities

  • Team leading and motivation
  • Ensure that all Brand Standards, ISO procedures and restaurant – hotel policies are followed constantly and in the right way from all team members aiming to achieve the highest guest satisfaction
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating all guest needs and handling successfully any possible complaints
  • Work closely with the F&B Manager and the Executive Chef
  • Work closely with the Purchasing Manager regarding the purchase of goods, consumables, warehouse and equipment needed for the smooth and successful operation of the department
  • Work towards maximizing sales and revenue
  • Departmental budget handling in an effective and cost saving way
  • Responsible for the inventory of the Department
  • Participate actively in all Departmental and Management Meetings
  • Prepare all relevant periodic reports and provide input for forecasting and suggestions for improvement


  • Academic knowledge in Hotel or Restaurant Management or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience as Restaurant Manager in a luxury restaurant or 5 star Hotel
  • Excellent use (both oral and written) of Greek & English language. Knowledge of a third language, will be considered as an asset
  • Knowledge of Restaurant Management Software, POS and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Attention to detail and Problem Solving Mentality
  • Team Builder with ability to coordinate effectively and motivate a team, towards the achievement of important organizational goals
